Founded 1825 by Charles Colville, a travelling cartwright. Dalaruan was an integral part of the rise of Campbeltown into a ‘Whisky Capital.’ Dalaruan eventually sold for closure at auction in 1925 during the whisky industry collapse. At its height, Campbeltown had 34 working distilleries, alas today only 3.
Aroma of spice, fruits and maritime. The palate delivers sweet ripe fruits and smoke. On the finish you get smoke leading to sea salt. A marriage of 100% aged Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, no added colour, not chill filtered. A modern interpretation of the legendary Dalaruan Distillery.
