Description

McLean's Something Blue Gin Miniature Something Blue toes the line between the “flavoured" and "dry" gin categories, somehow managing to be both - yet neither - simultaneously. The contemporary spirit has a floral nose, with lavender and violet leading. Some detect subtle (but welcome) hints of cardamom and fresh mint. On the palate, suggestions of fresh garden herbs and sugared almonds are complimented by summer berries drizzled in a light marzipan. The finish is long, dry, refreshing, just subtly sweet and not-so-subtly moreish. Something Blue makes a beautifully refreshing G&T (we'd recommend Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic or Bon Accord Classic, garnished with pink grapefruit, mint or sliced cucumber) and is a great base for a range of cocktails; not least it's signature serve; The French 75.
