Kate Griffin is the founder and distiller at Wessex Spirits, based in Andover, Hampshire. She started the business in her grandfather’s garden annexe and has since expanded to open The Gin Palace in Andover. This new venue includes multiple tasting rooms and an events space, allowing her to host gin tastings and community events.

Kate is known for creating unique and bespoke gins, including a special Coronation Gin for King Charles, inspired by his favorite breakfast drink of Darjeeling tea with honey. Her innovative approach and dedication to quality have earned Wessex Spirits recognition, including being highly commended in the Countryside Alliance Awards.
